We are seeking a Cost Accountant II on a permanent basisto join our team.

Job Purpose:

To ensure that all monthly accounts and associated reports are prepared in a timely and accurate manner.

Key responsibilities:

  • Preparation and reporting through Hyperion of monthly financial accounts on a timely basis.
  • Preparation of monthly financial reports for management on a timely basis.
  • Preparation of monthly analytical review of monthly financial accounts.
  • Monitoring and tracking variances on a monthly basis.
  • Review BSC accounting policies and revise local accounting policies where necessary (incl. Sarbanes Oxley requirements).
  • Liaison with the external and internal auditors.
  • Assist in the implementation and development of Financial Systems.
  • Monthly reconciliation of income statement and balance sheet accounts.
  • Business Partner providing finance support and knowledge to assist the business & functional leaders to meet and exceed the 9-Panel targets.
  • Support Corporate planning and forecast procedure.
  • Financial support for plant and corporate projects.
  • Actively engage in continuous improvement & ‘lean business process’ in Finance by driving incremental improvement to key processes.

Education & Experience:

  • Qualified accountant with ideally 2+ years’ experience (manufacturing experience preferable).
  • Strong planning and organisational skills to ensure timely delivery on all commitments.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Attention to detail & ability to manage complexity.
  • Ability to proactively identify and resolve issues using analytical approach.
