Job description

Continuous Improvement Coordinator

My client, a global leader in sustainable packaging is looking to recruit a Continuous Improvement Coordinator to work within their Operational Excellence Department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who is passionate about process improvement and eager to develop in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You’ll support improvement initiatives on-site, assist with training others in Lean tools, and gain hands-on experience in Lean Six Sigma methodologies. This role also includes involvement in coaching and supporting team members (belts) as they work on improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support day-to-day improvement activities across the site
  • Assist in implementing Lean and Continuous Improvement tools
  • Work with teams across the site to identify and reduce inefficiencies
  • Help train and support team members (belts) on improvement projects
  • Provide coaching and guidance to employees learning Lean Six Sigma methods
  • Execute LSS projects to meet division savings goals
  • Track progress of projects and assist with reporting results
  • Support training sessions and promote best practices across the site
  • Learn and apply problem-solving tools in a manufacturing setting

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous background in Continuous Improvement role or in manufacturing, engineering, or a related field
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
  • Interest in Lean/Continuous Improvement (prior exposure is a bonus)
  • Comfortable supporting and coaching others as part of a team
  • Green Belt certification is a plus, but not essential
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a hands-on environment
