Job description

Who we are
About Stripe

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies - from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups - use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone's reach while doing the most important work of your career.

About the team

We’re looking for a Compensation Operations Analyst to join our Global Compensation Team and play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our compensation programs & partners. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their HR career who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves working with systems (Workday experience is required), process, and data, and enjoys operational work that ensures employees are paid accurately and fairly.

What you’ll do

As part of our Compensation team, you’ll be responsible for executing transactional processes, maintaining compensation data integrity, supporting compensation cycles, and partnering with HR and business stakeholders to deliver a great employee experience. We are looking for a candidate who is motivated by process execution and improvement, and who is curious and/or knowledgeable about global compensation programs.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Compensation, People Systems, People Operations, and Payroll teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of compensation changes (e.g., promotions, salary adjustments, off-cycle increases).
  • Maintain data accuracy across HR systems, performing audits and reconciliations to ensure compensation records are complete and correct.
  • Support the administration of the annual compensation review cycle, including data preparation, system testing, auditing, and reporting.
  • Generate regular and ad-hoc compensation reports to support business and HR needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners in HR, Finance, and Payroll to ensure smooth execution of compensation processes.
  • Help document and continuously improve compensation processes, SOPs, and operational workflows.
  • Support compensation survey submissions and market data requests.
  • Respond to compensation-related inquiries from People Partners & People Specialists, Recruiters, and employees through our internal ticketing system.
  • Assist with special projects and initiatives related to compensation operations and systems.
Who you are

We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

Minimum requirements
  • 1 -3 years of experience in an HR Operations, People Analytics, or Compensation role — ideally in a fast-paced, scaling environment.
  • Experience operating an internal ticketing system for responding to questions and servicing employee needs.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Comfort working with HR systems (e.g., Workday, SAP, Oracle, or similar) and tools like Excel or Google Sheets. Workday experience is required.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach and customer-service mindset.
  • Interest in learning more about compensation programs, market data, and the intersection of HR and business strategy.
Preferred qualifications
  • Experience writing reports in Workday or uploading Workday EIBs.
  • Exposure to compensation programs or pay practices at a global technology company.
  • Familiarity with equity compensation programs, including the operational granting of equity through Workday, and related compliance requirements.
Office-assigned Stripes spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This hits a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility about how to do this in a way that makes sense for individuals and their teams.

The annual salary range for this role in the primary location is €56,000 - €84,000. This range may change if you are hired in another location. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings (“OTE”) range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and specific location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the primary location may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.

Specific benefits and details about what compensation is included in the salary range listed above will vary depending on the applicant’s location and can be discussed in more detail during the interview process. Benefits/additional compensation for this role may include: equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses; retirement plans; health benefits; and wellness stipends.
