A recruitment agency is partnering with a market-leading business in Ireland to appoint a Company Accountant. This role will develop into a Financial Controller position. The Company Accountant will be responsible for preparing monthly and annual accounts, HMRC PAYE/VAT returns, and KPI reports, while also supporting major business decisions. Candidates should have 2-3 years of post-qualified experience, strong communication skills, and high attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience as a Post Qualified Accountant.
• Strong communication and organisational skills are essential.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain high levels of numeracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for preparing monthly and annual accounts.
• Finalize and submit all HMRC PAYE/VAT returns.
• Prepare monthly KPI reports.
• Suggest updates for accounting systems.
• Ensure proper recording and reporting of all financial transactions.
• Deal with external auditors.
