You will be a Commercial Manager embedded within our Irish business, working on rail projects or programmes. You will support contract and cost management activities, ensuring accurate forecasting, reporting, and governance. This role requires strong collaboration with client and contractor teams to deliver project objectives and drive commercial excellence.

Your Purpose:

  • Administer a variety of contracts in accordance with project objectives and policies.
  • Provide accurate project cost monitoring, forecasting, and reporting to completion in line with budget.
  • Proactively monitor and manage cost variance and contract cash flow, ensuring timely and correct applications.
  • Collaborate with client and contractor teams to manage delivery of project KPIs, programme performance, cost control, and value engineering.
  • Manage contract changes effectively, ensuring governance compliance and adoption of best practices.
  • Drive improvements in the accuracy of forecasts and budgets.
  • Resolve contractual disputes and support risk mitigation strategies.

What can you bring:

  • Membership of a relevant professional body with chartered status and/or educated to degree level preferred.
  • Successful experience of delivering rail projects in a commercial environment.
  • Experience of mentoring and/or management.
  • Knowledge of railway and construction industry conditions of contract.
  • Ability to work on contracts independently.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
