Job description

TTM Healthcare are currently recruiting a Clinical Nurse Manager 2 on behalf of a Mental Health hospital based in South Dublin.

This is a full time permanent contract working 39 hours per week.

Salary scale: €57,198 € 58,146 € 58,947 € 60,255 €61,701 €63,120 €64,539€ 66,137 €67,621

This Hospital provides a spectrum of neuropsychiatric services to adults with a range of serious and enduring mental health needs such as Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, and Huntington’s Diseases, as well as individuals with early onset dementias, schizophrenia, and mood disorders. Theyare the only facility in Ireland that provides a high level of specialized care for people with Huntington’s disease.

Requirements:

  • Must be a Registered General Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with the NMBI.
  • At least 3 years post-registration nursing experience.
  • Experience working in adult mental health services is an advantage.
  • Advanced healthcare skills.
  • Experience in Venepuncture/ Phlebotomy and ECG monitoring, and knowledge of primary care practice.
  • Experience in the management of long-term conditions, e.g., COPD, diabetes, CHD, etc.
  • Experience in nursing practice and assessment in continence, tissue viability, management, and treatment of minor injuries/illness.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • IT proficient.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
