Overview

The Citibank Europe Plc (CEP) Markets Operations Team, based in Dublin, manages all governance and oversight for CEP Markets products. The role of the team in Dublin is to monitor and report to key stakeholders, work with service providers to ensure market products are managed in an efficient manner and closely liaise with various Operations and Technology (O&T) partners and CEP Markets Head and Business Unit Management (BUM).


Responsibilities


  • Monitoring KRIs (Key Risk Indicators) to ensure they remain within agreed thresholds/ appetite and reporting status to key stakeholders

  • Managing relationships with service providers through regular communication and planned reviews of KRIs and documentation

  • Monthly KRI report preparation (SMR) and presentation at various governance (PCF49)

  • Presence at regional controls calls, risk fora and regulatory fora updates

  • New Product Approvals for CEP Operations

  • Permitted Product List (PPL) Review for CEP Operations

  • Quarterly Managers Control Assessment (MCA) review

  • Escalation of issues to CEP senior management

  • FMI reporting, SREP reporting and CSDR penalty reporting


Qualifications


  • BS/BA degree or equivalent combination of education/experience

  • Experience of managing within a highly regulated environment.

  • Knowledge of regulations that impact CEP such as EMIR, CSDR, SFTR and MiFID

  • Knowledge and an understanding of the EBA guidelines relating to outsourcing

  • Knowledge of Market Operations processes and Market products.

  • Working knowledge of FX, Derivatives, Repo, Futures and OTC Cleared products advantageous

  • Self-driven, empathetic to clients’ needs, good problem solver, results oriented

  • Ability to establish and build trust with professionals and clients alike, throughout the business as a leader, advisor and business partner to the organization with a clear client orientation.

  • Strong awareness of both external and internal best practice perspectives, maintaining a balanced and fresh view-point.

  • Ability to conceptualize aspects of the organization’s model and its future development.

  • Experience delivering strategic change programs spanning multiple years in a fast paced, large global financial services firm, ideally in an operations organization
