Are you a dynamic sales professional with a background in hire, construction, or related industries?

We’re seeking a Business Development Manager to join our Dublin & Kildare Teams, driving growth across the Leinster region and throughout Ireland. In this role, you’ll build strong client relationships, win new business, and help accelerate our success in the cabin hire sector.

THE ROLE

To identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities within the cabin hire industry. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key customer relationships, and promoting the company's products and services to achieve revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across construction, infrastructure, events, and industrial sectors.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to grow the customer base and increase market share.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions using the company’s range of cabin hire products and services.
  • Prepare and present proposals, tenders, and quotations in a professional and timely manner.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Research and identify upcoming construction projects using the Construction Information Services (CIS) online platform, generating high-quality, profitable leads to feed into the sales pipeline.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including operations, logistics and hire desk to ensure smooth delivery of solutions.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities or risks.
  • Report regularly on pipeline activity, sales progress, and market insights to senior management.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management—ideally within the cabin hire, modular buildings, or construction-related industries.
  • Strong understanding of the hire/rental model and experience selling to B2B clients.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Commercially savvy with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Full driving license.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Degree or qualification in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field (preferred but not essential).
  • Experience with public sector and public-private partnerships.
