This role is key in driving profitable growth within the new business team, achieving broker account targets, meeting agreed service standards and key performance objectives. You will have a strong focus on building rapport and relationships with and delivering a superb service to our broker partners and will actively identify opportunities to cross-sell using market leading technology.**What You’ll Be Doing:*** Significant contribution to the overall new business GWP target.* To effectively negotiate with both internal and external parties including identified points of contact with a brokerage.* Building relationships with key brokers and maintain a strong local market presence.* Maintain profitability of the account by understanding the Hiscox Underwriting Appetite and assist in winning both individual cases and wider portfolio opportunities.* Ensure underwriting file integrity by documenting file in line with U/W management* Support the Head of Sales and Distribution by strategically managing our broker accounts**Person Specification:*** Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills combined with a proven track record of relationship management and customer focus. Able to positively affect other people and to win business.* Ability to communicate our products and service differentiators clearly.
