Overview

Join to apply for the Cyber Business Analyst - VP role at State Street.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Analyst with a passion for process improvement, experienced with regulatory processes or policies to join our team. In this role, you will identify, analyze and optimize business processes and related policies/procedures to drive operational efficiency and improve user experience.

You will work closely with stakeholders across multiple functions to understand current workflows, identify pain points and implement solutions that enhance productivity and effectiveness.

About The Cybersecurity GRC Team

The Governance Risk & Compliance team is a growing area of cybersecurity which works to ensure that State Street maintains a strong cybersecurity posture by aligning regulatory requirements, industry standards and internal risk management frameworks with business units. As a member of the Cybersecurity GRC Team, you will have a significant opportunity to make a difference within the Cybersecurity organization, as well as across State Street overall.

What You Will Be Responsible For
  • Leading process improvement initiatives by analyzing existing workflows and identifying areas for optimization.
  • Gathering, documenting and validating business requirements, ensuring alignment with goals.
  • Working across business units to gather and maintain a comprehensive set of program information to drive cybersecurity across the enterprise.
  • Conducting gap analysis and root cause investigations to address inefficiencies and improve performance.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement process enhancements, automation and best practices.
  • Utilizing data analysis and performance metrics to track improvements and measure success.
  • Facilitating workshops, stakeholder interviews and process mapping exercises.
  • Supporting change management efforts, ensuring smooth adoption of new processes and tools.
  • Maintaining clear and concise documentation of processes, procedures and controls.

Education And Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven experience in business analysis and process improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean Six Sigma).
  • Proficiency in process mapping tools such as Visio, Aris, BPMN.
  • Experience with data analysis tools and reporting platforms (e.g. Excel, Power BI).
  • Strong knowledge of business process automation and workflow optimization.
  • Certification for business in Lean Six Sigma, Business Analysis (CBAP, CCBA) or Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
  • Certifications in cybersecurity including but not limited to: CC, CRISC, CGEIT, CIPM, GSLC, CISM are a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related IT degree.
