Job description

Red Chair Recruitment is currently recruiting a Business Accountant for a well-established company based in Tralee, County Kerry.

This role requires a detail-oriented and experienced professional to manage core financial functions including invoicing, creditors and debtors, financial reporting, and budgeting. The successful candidate will play a key role in the company’s financial operations by processing invoices and financial transactions, reconciling bank accounts, managing VAT returns, preparing end-of-year accounts, and assisting with business performance analysis and forecasts. You will also support the finance team and contribute to broader business and operational decision-making processes.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar Business Accounting role.
  • A relevant qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (Accounting Technician or higher).
  • Experience working with SAGE Accounts or similar accounting software.
  • Strong knowledge of financial processes including creditors, debtors, invoicing, and reporting.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
