Aviation Finance Solicitor

Description:
We are hiring for our client, a highly regarded international law firm, to join their Dublin team as an Aviation Finance Solicitor. This role is ideal for a motivated finance lawyer with at least 1 year PQE who is eager to work within a market-leading Aviation Group advising a diverse range of clients, including banks, airlines, leasing companies, export credit agencies, and funds.

The successful candidate will have strong finance experience and a proven ability to manage transactions and collaborate effectively within a team. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex domestic and cross-border aviation finance transactions, including aircraft lease portfolio securitisations and the establishment of leasing and joint venture companies in Ireland.

The Role:

  • Advise on aviation finance transactions, acting for banks and borrowers.

  • Manage complex domestic and international transactions including securitisations and joint ventures.

  • Work closely with a diverse client base across banks, leasing companies, and aviation industry stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with colleagues across finance and other practice groups to deliver seamless client service.

The Person:

  • Minimum 1 year PQE with strong aviation or finance law experience gained at a recognised law firm.

  • Demonstrable ability to manage transactions effectively and work well as part of a high-performing team.

  • Strong academic background and excellent technical, drafting, and attention-to-detail skills.

  • Proven track record in client service and commercial awareness.

  • Excellent communication, organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.

  • Flexible and resilient, able to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
