Responsibilities
- Deliver support for automation and control systems involved in manufacturing operations.
- Serve as a technical point of reference for automation-related matters across the engineering team.
- Contribute to the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies aimed at boosting operational efficiency.
- Collaborate on project teams, offering expertise and guidance on control systems hardware and architectural decisions.
- Anticipate and address technical challenges to minimize disruption to operational goals.
- Troubleshoot, interpret, and update automation software in accordance with the site's quality standards.
- Design, verify, and deploy control software within a sophisticated, validated, and automated manufacturing setting.
- Build and connect software tools for automated systems, integrating them with the site’s existing digital analytics platforms.
Experience / Qualifications
- Level 8 Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or related field with equivalent technical experience is required.
- 3+ years experience in Automation.
- Strong understanding of automated control systems such as Allen Bradley & Siemens, robotics, and industrial automation. Proven experience with automation tools (e.g., PLC, SCADA, HMI).
