Job Description: Area Sales Manager - Prestige Division

At National Beauty Distribution, we don’t just distribute products — we bring some of the world’s most iconic beauty brands to life in Ireland. As one of the country’s leading names in brand management and distribution, we’re the exclusive home to high-profile global players shaping the future of hair and beauty.

Our business is split across five verticals: Professional, Retail, Prestige, Retail & DTC. This role specifically supports the Prestige brands, including Aveda, Living Proof, Bumble & bumble, Act+Acre, Origins and any other brands that National Beauty Distribution may introduce into the portfolio in the future.

Key Responsibilities
  • Account Management: Work in partnership with accounts to drive the development of both salon and retail business through a combination of sales and education.

  • Relationship Building: Manage an account base of existing and competitor salons, fostering long-term relationships and executing the commercial plans of the division to achieve and exceed revenue, growth, promotional, and distribution objectives.

  • Business Planning: Establish and implement business plans and solutions, conducting regular business reviews to identify client needs.

  • Contact Strategy: Create and execute a structured account contact plan, integrating the e-visit, blending selling, and online/offline Route to Market strategy.

  • Education Support: Support education plans in all accounts, ensuring the highest expertise of salon and retail staff in using and recommending products and services.

  • Conquest Strategy: Execute the regional conquest strategy, focusing on winning specific targeted doors, dedicating 50% of your time to conquest and expanding the salon and store business.

  • Marketing & Promotions: Originate, agree, and implement promotional and marketing activity designed to generate sales growth and meet brand objectives, with a critical focus on a sell-out approach for the salon or store.

  • Customer-Centric Approach: Identify opportunities for increasing business through salon, stylist, and retail staff centricity.

  • Strategic Projects: Work on key strategic projects to increase brand awareness within the industry, showcasing Aveda, Living Proof, Bumble & bumble, Act+Acre, and any future brands.

  • Administrative Tasks: Maintain customer files, complete all required administration promptly and accurately, and forecast territory turnover while building comprehensive risk plans.

  • Market Intelligence: Stay up to date with market trends and customer insights to ensure effective market intelligence.

  • Payment Collection: Obtain payment in line with company credit terms.

  • Education Project Participation: Achieve targets for event occupancy within all education project offerings and create full 360 pro advocacy plans to increase customer and consumer awareness.
