As well as sourcing and supplying some of the most exclusive tiles and stone from Europe and around the world; Armatile design and manufacture unique decorative floor tiles, wall tiles and bespoke mosaics for architects, designers, tile retailers and distributors. It is this unique design and manufacturing service that makes us stand out from the crowd.

Our products range from the authentically traditional to the truly outrageous and we have supplied many prestigious tiling projects locally and throughout the world including; Dubai, U.S.A, Canada, Europe and the UK.

Due to increased customer demand and exciting ongoing growth and investment plans, we require an Area Commercial Sales Manager ROI to develop further business with architects, specifiers, designers and contractors, in the greater Dublin area and beyond.

Based in our new showroom in Baldoyle, you will be tasked with growing existing as well as developing new business. You will have responsibility for identifying new business opportunities within a targeted and specified market segment and tasked to create strong long-term customer relationships. You will be proactive, self-motivated and enjoy the challenge of promoting unique concepts to a targeted, vibrant and growing sector of the market. The ideal candidate should have experience working with interior designers, architects and contractors.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

• Develop business with existing and new clients including; designers, architects, building contractors and developers.
• Promote Armatile's unique design and manufacturing service to existing and new clients
• Identify and exploit market opportunities.
• Organise regular sales/technical presentations to clients.
• Liaise closely with marketing, design, production and administration teams to fully develop and exploit sales opportunities
• Liaise with marketing and sales teams to devise effective marketing strategies and improve existing marketing techniques
• Set and achieve sales targets
• Attend sales presentations, networking events and trade exhibitions
• Formally report to Managing Director at least once a month, to present data with regard to sales won/lost, quotations given, work in progress, competitor activity, sales and business opportunities and other relevant business information
• Maintain project and company databases.
• Submit reports to time deadlines.
  
  

Essential Criteria

• Knowledge and experience of the specification market in relation to a construction related product or service
• Full clean driving license
• IT skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Must be self-motivated, organised and have good interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively on your own as well as part of a dynamic creative team
• Ability to problem solve and be creative when dealing with customers and co-workers
• Demonstrate entrepreneurial capabilities and the ability to win sales
• Must be flexible to work when and where required
  
  

DESIRABLE CRITERIA

• Design qualification or experience working in a design environment
• Educated to degree level or equivalent
• Experience of sales in the tile industry or related industry, e.g. wooden flooring, carpets, vinyl etc.
