Job description

Overview

We are seeking Application Development Lead for P&R team’s Payments Product Processor development team. The successful candidate will interact with key stakeholders from product, operations and other teams for handling of application activities and new projects. The candidate will also interact with development Project Manager, the development, testing, and production support teams, as well as other departments within Citigroup (such as System Administrators, Database Administrators, Data Centre Operations, and Change Control groups) for TTS platforms.

The candidate should be well versed with GPPSP payments product with strong expertise on product technical, deployment & functional behaviour.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership of multiple large-scale/complex software solutions, extending the existing platform through custom development, customization, and integration with in-house and vendor solutions to deliver a platform that meets key business requirements.
• Implement GPPSP product across countries with robust hardware and software solutions.
• Design, code, test, document, and implement application release projects as part of the development team.
• Strong GPPSP subject-matter-expertise to design payment flows and provide solutions.
• Strong experience working with various payments schemes (preferably Faster Payments) and payment messaging formats such as ISO 8583, ISO 20022, and SWIFT.
• Experience in building enterprise transaction-based systems focusing on recovery, stability, reliability, scalability and performance.
• Experience in working on JMS / MQ applications.
• Technical exposure is preferable.
• Work closely with Program Management and Quality Control teams to deliver quality software to agreed project schedules.
• Proactively notify Development Project Manager of risks, bottlenecks, problems, issues, and concerns.
• Compliance with Citi's System Development Lifecycle and Information Security requirements.
