Anaesthetics Registrar
Private Hospital | Ireland | Full-Time / Fixed-Term

An established private hospital in Ireland is seeking an experienced and motivated Anaesthetics Registrar to join its Anaesthetics Department. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience within a supportive, consultant-led environment, working across a diverse range of surgical specialties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality anaesthetic care for elective and emergency procedures

  • Participate in pre-operative assessment and post-operative follow-up

  • Provide perioperative support across surgical theatres and recovery areas

  • Contribute to on-call rotas as required

  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and clinical excellence

Requirements
  • Full registration with the Irish Medical Council (IMC)

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in Anaesthetics

  • Currently enrolled in, or eligible for, an Anaesthesia training programme

  • Strong clinical skills, with a commitment to high standards of patient care

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Desirable
  • Prior experience in an Irish or UK hospital setting

  • Interest in teaching or research is welcome but not essential
