Job summary

A dynamic company is seeking an Accounting Technician and Office Administrator for maternity cover in Claremorris, County Mayo. Responsibilities include financial support for management, preparation of monthly accounts, and cover for office administration tasks. Accounting Technician and Office Administrator – Maternity Cover

Location: Christeyns Technologies Ireland, Claremorris, Country Mayo, Ireland.

Main Duties

The main responsibilities of this role are to provide financial support for the senior management team; this support will include but is not limited to the following:

  • Completion of monthly management accounts.
  • Co-ordination and communication with internal stakeholders.
  • Provide support and cover for existing office administration for payables and receivables etc.
  • Assistance with production of Health, Safety and Environmental documentation.
  • Co-ordinate the sourcing of group marketing materials and sales aids.
  • Assist in the co-ordination of any business meetings.
  • Provide financial inputs to management with tasks associated with the various Christeyns business units.
  • Assistance with finance aspects of our operation including bank reconciliations, credit control, purchase ledger, VAT returns, on-line banking.
  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills.
  • Must have a good level of numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Ability to travel, throughout Ireland with overnight stays if required.
  • Possess a strong ‘team player’ work ethic.
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Ability to provide a pro-active customer service with a confident nature.
  • Fully conversant and skilled in the use Microsoft Office packages, including Excel, Word, and Power Point.
  • Experience of working in a Business-to-Business office environment.
  • Experience in similar financial accounting role.
  • Qualifications or experience as an accounting technician.

This role is a maternity cover role, expected to be for a duration of 1-year.
