Role: National Account Manager FMCG Sector

Location: 2 days office - Dublin 10, 3 days field sales

We are a group of companies, our Irish office is in Dublin, our UK office is in London. Since 1978 we have pioneered the growth of organic foods sales in the UK and Ireland . Due to our successful expansion in the Irish market, we are now looking to onboard a highly driven and enthusiastic sales team member to build on our relationships with existing customers in Dublin and major eastern towns and also find new retail outlets for our 6 Organic brands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive business across multiple retailers and independent stores to achieve our Sales Targets
  • Look after 3 existing Wholesale customers
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of our product assortment and understanding of our customer needs.
  • Establish excellent customer relationships ,growing our product assortment with existing customers, as well as getting listings with new independent stores in the Dublin area.
  • Identify and communicate merchandising opportunities with our customers to help ensure the best possible space allocation and visibility for our brands, in-store and on shelf.
  • Ensure that our trade incentives and activities are put to the best use.
  • Monitor and report on competitor activity.
  • Identify new business opportunities by understanding retail categories and shopper behaviour in-store.
  • Organise and work at our Irish trade and consumer events.

Key Requirements:

  • Ability to proactively build and maintain excellent relationships with existing and potential customers.
  • Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies.
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Time management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and be highly self-motivated.
  • Flexible, agile and adaptable to change. A desire to learn and grow in the sales field.
  • Ability to develop a successful bespoke promo plan with key health store retail groups.
  • Previous experience in New business development would be an advantage.
  • Successful candidate must have good IT skills
  • Bonus potential of up to 15% of salary
