- BS / S1 degree in Business Management or related field.
- Adequate communication ability in English or Mandarin both spoken and written.
- Proven work experience (min. 2 years) in a Procurement Division, preferably related to the aluminum ingot manufacturing field such as in industry Smelter or Extrusion is a must.
- Proven knowledge of procurement management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation, and supplier management).
- Familiarity with industry-standard materials such as chips, dross, UBC, plates, etc
- Be knowledgeable of procurement processes, supplier quality, cost management, inventory control, and contract management.
- Computer literacy.
- Ability to create accountability and to lead by example.
- Strong team building, decision-making, and people management skills
- Plan, organize, direct, and oversee day-to-day procurement operations.
- Enhance procurement processes, asset capacity, and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards.
- Responsible for production output, product quality, and on-time delivery / shipping.
- Responsible for procurement output, supplier quality, and on-time delivery.
- Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to achieve optimal results.
- Implement strategies aligned with procurement objectives and provide clear direction and focus.
- Monitor procurement activities and initiate corrective actions as needed.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with suppliers and oversee supplier management processes.
- Analyze procurement data to identify areas of improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
- Develop and implement procurement policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure efficiency and compliance.
