About Our Client

Our client is a leading FMCG company in Indonesia with carefully crafted products under their platform. The team is looking for a Plant Manager to head the whole technical engineering and production function.

Job Description

1. 
   
   Strategic Planning: Developing and implementing strategic plans to achieve production goals and align with overall business objectives.
2. 
   
   Operations Management: Overseeing day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, quality, and safety standards are met.
3. 
   
   Budgeting and Cost Control: Creating and managing budgets to optimize resource allocation and control expenses without compromising quality or safety.
4. 
   
   Quality Assurance: Implementing quality control measures and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
5. 
   
   Health, Safety, and Environmental Compliance: Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations to maintain a safe and sustainable working environment.
6. 
   
   Employee Management and Development: Leading and managing plant staff, fostering a positive work culture, and promoting teamwork, training, and development.

The Successful Applicant

• A bachelor's degree in engineering, operations management, or a related field is typically required. A master's degree or MBA may be preferred.
• Extensive experience in manufacturing operations, with at least 7-10 years of progressive leadership roles, including supervisory or managerial experience.
• Demonstrated success in overseeing plant operations, managing budgets, implementing process improvements, and driving operational excellence.
• Proven track record of achieving production targets, improving efficiency, and ensuring product quality and safety compliance.
• Experience working in a regulated industry (e.g., food production) may be beneficial.
