IT Business Development Division Head

• Development and implementation of a business development plan.
• Developing in-depth knowledge of company offerings to identify profitable business opportunities.
• Direct marketing efforts by presenting market research to marketing directors and suggesting strategies to expand market research.
• Building solid relationships with customers, vendors, and distributors, as well as business development teams.
• Contribute to reactive income generation opportunities, such as coordinating bids and proposals, and undertaking analysis and modeling.
• Leverages internal and external relationships as a trusted advisor to advise complex (e.g., large, high impact) customers and partners on domain expertise as a sought-out resource across multiple lines of business, geographies, and cultures, as appropriate; advises partners and decision-makers on the industry and company. Drives internal strategy and guides the team in executing partnerships.
• Drives customer and partner business initiatives, and contributes to customer strategy discussions; influences the product roadmap, prioritization, and customer and partner decision making. Looks across accounts to identify and address broad issues and trends. Drives strategic thinking among the team and fosters a culture of customer and partner focus.
• Establish and implement a training program for new Business Development employees.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree majoring in Accounting, Information Technology (IT), Computerized Accounting, or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Business Manager / Key Account Manager from IT Solutions or IT System Integrator company (preferred from IBM Partner company)
  
• Experienced in handling large-scale projects, especially for IBM Products.
