Job Description

As an HR Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Managing end-to-end HR process and function, including operations and administration duty
• Building a strong employee engagement program and strategizing on risk possibilities within plant areas
• Overseeing the HSE department as well as ensuring safety within the workforce
• Being involved in organizational changes and policy improvement
• Managing top-level organization and collaborating with the global organization to oversee, implement, and strategize the HR function

The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate must possess:

• A minimum of 8 years of experience within HR managerial function
• Previous experience in automotive manufacturing is preferred, otherwise any other manufacturing will be considered
• Fluency in English
• Previous experience in a multinational company with a matrix reporting line
• Proven track record in end-to-end HR function, full cycle of talent management, and industrial relations
• Proven knowledge of ISO certification and EHS function
• Will be based in Batam (not a roster system)
• Strong knowledge of labor law & local Batam law
• Good communication and negotiation skills
