Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee both Modern Trade (MT) and General Trade (GT) operations. Drive sales targets through effective distribution and route-to-market strategies.
Built, lead, mentor, and motivate the sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment with corporate goals and effective execution of strategies.
Establish KPIs and performance metrics to track progress, analyze data, and provide actionable insights for continuous improvements.
Identify and evaluate new market opportunities and potential distributors to expand the company's footprint globally.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential distributors, negotiating agreements and managing partnerships effectively.
Manage financial aspects within the commercial division, including sales revenue, returns, promotional expenditures, departmental expenses, and capital investments.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to optimize marketing strategies and enhance brand positioning.
Ensure all marketing and sales activities comply with industry regulations and standards.
The Successful Applicant
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
Over 15 years of experience in a senior sales and marketing role within the FMCG industry, with a proven track record of successfully driving growth and expanding distribution networks.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve outstanding results.
Strategic thinker with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple priorities.
