About Our Client

Our client is a multinational trading company based in South Jakarta, known for their innovative approach and commitment to excellence. They are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finance and Accounting Specialist to join their team and support their financial operations.

Job Description

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports, ensuring compliance with local accounting standards and company policies.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Conduct financial analysis to support business decision-making and identify areas for cost optimisation.
• Handle tax compliance and reporting, including VAT, withholding tax, and corporate income tax.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax consultants to facilitate audits and tax assessments.
• Monitor cash flow and assist in financial planning and budgeting processes.
• Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data in the SAP system.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support various financial projects and initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance and accounting, preferably within a trading or similar industry.
• Working experience in accounting firm is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Indonesian accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Advanced skills in MS Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
• Excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
