Multiple expansion headcounts for Technical and IT Risk Specialists with authorized Global Banks and Financial Institutions.
Job Duties
- Assume 1st or 2nd line of technical risk assessments, driving risk mitigation, tracking, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with HKMA / SFC regulatory requirements and Corporate Governance.
- Identify technical risks and implement control measures by collaborating with group & regional stakeholders across IT, security, risk, audit, and compliance departments.
- Support ALM Committee as part of the Regional Risk Management Team.
- Review market risk, liquidity risk, and counterparty risk management frameworks to ensure compliance with group policies and HKMA/MAS regulations.
- Conduct daily monitoring and reporting of market risk, counterparty credit, and liquidity risk positions.
- Identify potential investment/operational risk by working closely with portfolio management, investment teams, tech, operations, legal, and compliance departments.
- Conduct periodic risk assessments and stress tests to ensure regulatory and corporate governance compliance.
- Conduct periodic reviews and formulate effective controls in accordance with regulatory requirements and corporate governance as part of the 2nd line of defense.
- Perform gap analysis; develop control processes/policies and KRI indicators in partnership with compliance, audit, and 1st line of business.
- Drive thematic reviews, especially related to IT risk, cybersecurity, PDPO, outsourcing, and BCP issues.
Requirements
- Well-qualified graduate, preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology-related majors.
- 6+ years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in Technology/IT/Cybersecurity Risk Management or Audit, from an international bank or management consultancy.
- Professional credentials such as CISA, CISM, or CISSP are highly advantageous.
- Proven experience in IT security and risk consultation.
- Oversight of liquidity, treasury, and market risk.
- Experience in bank-wide asset and liability management.
