Solution Architect (Video Analytics, VA)

Responsibilities

• Build VA (video analytics) software application, for early engagement with customers by prototyping, and to propose, develop, and deploy winning solutions based on VA and VMS (video management system) technology.
• Work with team to propose appropriate solutions for clients.
• Understand customer pain points, architect solutions, and build VA applications for Proof Of Concept (POC) by training various VA models quickly.
• Collaborate with pre-sale team to map out functional and technical architecture, and estimate costs.
• Based on VA prototyping for POC, work with solution partners to integrate software components or develop solutions in-house, according to specifications.
• Deploy solutions on Linux/Windows in data centers or on customer premises without internet access.

Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery teams to meet revenue and profit targets for key clients.
• Manage customer solution teams during pre-tender, tender, or trial stages to secure new contracts.

• Experience in customizing VA network layers.
• Knowledge in object tracking and Re-ID is a plus.
• Understanding of transport market dynamics and VA products.
• Proficiency with Linux, bash, Python, OpenCV, C/C++, GitHub, Docker, Apache, Base64, protobuf.
• API development experience using RESTful, MQTT, AMQP.
• Familiarity with mainstream VA frameworks like Caffe, TensorFlow, OpenVINO.
• Ability to tag events on VMS with timestamps from GPS/IOT sensors.
• Experience integrating VA with applications for matching, searching, or alerts.
• Ability to demonstrate running Caffe SSD on Ubuntu.
• Experience with ffmpeg, camera calibration, and data labeling with transfer learning is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills and proficiency in English and Putonghua.
• Enthusiasm for new technologies like video analytics, IoT, AI.

• Knowledge of public safety domain products and market dynamics.
• Familiarity with Linux, bash, Python, OpenCV, C/C++, GitHub, Docker, Apache, Base64, protobuf.
• API development skills using RESTful, MQTT, AMQP.
• Excellent team player, able to communicate across levels.
