Job description

Candidates with less experience will be considered as System Engineer.

Responsibilities

1. Provide deep-level support and IT architecture service to customers.
2. Design, implement, and support technology solutions and integrated systems solutions to customers.
3. Provide technical consultancy and prepare proposals, reports, and documentation for solutions to meet customers' technology and service requirements.
4. Perform as Project Manager and assist in IT Service Management whenever needed.
5. Provide IT Infrastructure planning and consulting services to customers.
6. Enabler of ITIL Life Cycle and industrial and technology standards.

Additional Responsibilities

1. Support variant network infrastructure projects to meet service target launch dates.
2. Perform server and system administration, monitor application performance and availability.
3. Perform routine server and system tasks such as backups and system patch updates.
4. Support and manage backup systems, resolve backup failures.
5. Support system maintenance, failover, and disaster recovery drills.
6. Maintain server inventory, operation documents, and procedures.
7. Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Diploma or University graduate with over 5 years of relevant IT infrastructure experience.
• Experience supporting core enterprise infrastructure environments.
• Solid knowledge in Wintel solutions, including operating systems, Active Directory, Exchange, MS System Center, storage, and backup solutions.
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V; backup technologies like Veeam, Commvault, and Symantec is preferred.
• Additional knowledge in networking, heterogeneous environments, DR, virtualization, databases, and data centers is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset.
• Good decision-making, problem-solving, project management skills, and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and prioritize effectively.
• Certifications such as ITIL Foundation, MCSE, or CCNA are preferred.

Additional Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Certificates like MCSA and MCSE are advantageous.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Windows and Linux system administration.
• Experience with Windows AD, VMware, backup systems, and scripting is preferred.
• Good command of English and Chinese, both spoken and written.
