Job summary

A regional IT services provider in Hong Kong is seeking a System Engineer to support and maintain the Flight Information Display System (FIDS) and other communications engineering systems. Candidates should possess a University or Higher Diploma in Computer Science with at least 2 years of experience in Linux/Windows administration and networking. Strong interpersonal skills and proficiency in English and Chinese are required, along with a readiness to work flexible hours for maintenance and emergencies.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience in Linux/Windows administration.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Ability to work under pressure and outside office hours as needed.

• Support digital signage, multimedia and other Communications Engineering systems for various sizable system implementations.

Job Requirements

• University/Higher Diploma holder in Computer Science from a recognized institute or equivalent
• At least 2 years’ experience in Linux/Windows administration, PC support and networking
• Airport operation with flight information display system experience would be an advantage
• Self-initiative, responsible, good interpersonal & communication skills and able to work under pressure
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Outside office hour support is required in case of emergency and scheduled maintenance
