Job description

• Prepare cost estimate based on the architectural drawings, materials required and assessment on labour involved
• Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities and specifications
• Monitor and keep track of project progress, including evaluation; measurement and valuation of variations in the works during the works
• Review and conduct vetting on the Contractor’s submissions
• Assess and provide advice on contractual claims
• Perform valuing on completed works and arranging payments
• Assist in project management and cost control
• Liaise with consultants, contractors, suppliers for cost valuation and management
• Perform any ad-hoc assignment as required

Requirements

• University degree in Quantity Surveying or related disciplines
• Qualified Quantity Surveyor and Member of the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors; and/or Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS)
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience on building design and construction works
• Experience on Building A&A works will be added advantage
• Experience on construction estimation on cost and programme
• Have good practical organisation skills, planning of resources and programme scheduling
• Multi-tasking, self-motivated, energetic team player with a flexible and adaptable approach to work
• A team player, communicator with ability to communicate across all levels and trades
• Fluent English and Cantonese
