Job summary

A leading financial institution is seeking a professional for a role in treasury valuation support. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, with at least 3 years of banking and risk modeling experience. Responsibilities include developing and validating valuation models and providing independent opinions on new products. Proficiency in Excel and fluency in English and Chinese (including Putonghua) are essential.

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Provide valuation support on treasury products.
• Perform model validation on treasury system models independently.
• Develop valuation model using valuation tool to validate the bank’s valuation model in treasury system.
• Ensure valuation from system is correctly calculated.
• Provide independent valuation opinion on new products.
• Propose solution on valuation should there be any system limitation constraints.

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance / Finance Modeling or related discipline, with CFA or FRM qualifications preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of banking and risk modeling experience.
• Validation experience with strong excel skills and treasury product knowledge.
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Fluency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
