Senior Applications Delivery Specialist

Responsibilities

1. Assist the team manager in leading IT projects to create direct business impacts and meet firm deadlines.
2. Serve as the main contact point with user departments for daily engagement and organize regular review meetings to communicate future IT plans and budgets.
3. Manage application enhancements and ensure support requests are handled according to standards and procedures.
4. Lead a team of developers in system development based on user requirements, standards, timelines, and deliverables.
5. Evaluate system performance and fine-tune parameters to support business decision-making.
6. Interpret IT security risk reports, communicate risks and issues, and implement security controls as per organizational policies.

Systems Analyst

Candidates with less experience may be considered as Analyst Programmers.

Responsibilities

1. Manage application system projects from development to implementation.
2. Lead a team in conducting feasibility studies, requirements analysis, and documentation.
3. Design systems and prepare related documentation.
4. Evaluate and recommend IT tools and technologies to resolve technical issues.

Job Requirements

For Senior Applications Delivery Specialist

• Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• At least 6 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency with Client-Server, Object-Oriented, Web Technologies, Java J2EE, Hibernate, GXT, Oracle, SQL, UNIX, and Windows.
• Hands-on Java programming, webpage, and mobile app development experience.
• Knowledge of container terminal operations is a plus.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin.
• Strong analytical skills and customer focus.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Willingness to travel overseas.
