Job summary

A leading company in Hong Kong is seeking a Product Manager to develop and manage VPN and VAS products. The role involves market analysis, product testing with vendors, and preparing product specifications and pricing. Ideal candidates will have at least 8 years of experience in the IP networking field, strong business acumen, and proficiency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of WAN optimization, VoIP, and network performance monitoring.

Job description

• Develop new VPN & VAS products and manage existing VPN & VAS products, as standalone products and/or VAS supporting VPN or ISP services
• Monitor market trends and evaluate new solutions and technologies from telco and vendors, transform into marketable and profitable products
• Arrange product testing with vendor and internal parties
• Coordinate with partners and internal departments to define service workflow and support logistics
• Prepare and update product price and cost calculation, product items and descriptions, service specification and product support documents
• Arrange product training and provide product support to internal departments

Job Requirements

• University degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline
• Minimum 8 year experience in the IP network and/or managed value-added service business and familiar with all product lines including traffic report, WAN optimization, network performance monitoring, VoIP, video conference and related VAS
• Possess integrated technical knowledge on network, system, security and network management tools
• Strong business sense in developing new products
• Manage and negotiation with different suppliers and partners
• Mature, good interpersonal skills and commercial mindedness
• Good command of spoken and written English, Cantonese and Mandarin
