Job Description

• Implementation, operations and maintenance of Networks services and all other related network management, hosting infrastructures & monitoring system to 6 Qty DCs across Kwai Chung, Tseung Kwan O and Chai Wan areas.
• Conduct period service quality checks as to ensure the quality of network service and achieved is within the SLA figure committed to customer. Also to implement preventive measures for improving service performance.
• Liaise with the local service providers and partners in overseeing the ordering and implementing of OLLC for customers projects.
• Oversee day-to-day operations activities, such as prepare network diagram, asset and inventory list, BCP/IT DR plan, security incident response plan / procedure, CR procedure, vulnerability / patch management, access policy, DC facilities preventive maintenance plan, visitor policy, physical access procedure, Operations SOP, training procedure and log review procedure etc
• Conduct service review with outsources vendors/contractors and to review SLA figure committed. Post mortem review with customer and to drive for improvement plan.
• Support TD for new budget requirements and active participation in tracking OPEX and CPAEX budget and proactively to analyze variances.
• Assigned additional duties as covering Ops Manager of HKG 24x7 NOC, in the absence of the current NOC Ops Manager.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Engineering / IT related filed
• At least 3 years in Telco/IT environment
• Good MPLS/ IP networking skills.
• Strong in transport services (SDH, ADM, Carrier Ethernet)
• CCNA &/or JUNOS certification
• Good Oral and Written English
• Need to be independent and knowledgeable to prioritize the tasks when handling multiple faults and projects at the same time.
• Need to be tactful when fronting and handling customers’ complaints and drive for prompt service resolution.
• Drive major incident resolution and post-mortem improvement plan with both internal and external stakeholders
• Exhibit vendor and service contractor’s management skill.
