Job summary

A global shipping company is looking for a Trade Management professional to drive guidelines and processes, oversee IT solutions, and manage projects within the Trade environment. The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree and possess solid experience in the ocean carrier industry. Exceptional communication skills in English and proficiency in Chinese are required, with a focus on problem-solving and project management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree holder of Business, Economics, E-commerce, or related disciplines.
  • Solid experience on ocean carrier Trade/Commercial business.
  • Strong project management and System Development skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist to drive new and refinement of Trades' related guidelines & processes globally.
  • Drive new and enhancement of Trades' related IT/system solutions.
  • Coordinate initiatives/projects on behalf of multi-Trade users.

Job description
  • Assist to drive new and refinement of Trades' related guidelines & processes in collaboration with Corporate functions, Trade management and Regions globally to comply with external requirements (e.g., regulatory, operational, commercial, etc.) and trades' strategies to excel in the dynamic environments
  • Drive new and enhancement of Trades' related IT/system solutions in collaboration with Trade users and IT Department to better support Trade decisions and performance measurements (e.g., Trade, yield and regional targets, etc.)
  • Drive and coordinate initiatives/projects on behalf of multi-Trade users with relevant stakeholders in HQ and Regions e.g., cost recovery analysis and trademark registration

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree holder of Business, Economics, E-commerce, or related disciplines
  • Solid experience on ocean carrier Trade/Commercial business
  • Strong project management, System Development and Business Process Management
  • Good in communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated fast learner, a problem-solver with a growth mindset
  • Strong analytic and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English, Chinese, fluency in Putonghua is an advantage
