Job summary

JC Executive Search is seeking a seasoned risk management professional in Hong Kong. This role involves assisting senior management with risk management initiatives, coordinating with teams for risk assessments, and providing actionable recommendations. Candidates should have at least 8 years of experience, a relevant degree, professional qualifications, and strong communication skills. This position also offers the potential for candidates with lesser experience to be considered for an Assistant Manager role.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree holder preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of solid professional experience in sizable companies or audit/consulting firms.
  • Prior experience in an enterprise risk management role is a must.

Job description
  • Assist senior management to coordinate risk management activities and oversight the implementation of risk management initiatives
  • Assist in continuous improvement of the Company’s enterprise risk management framework
  • Facilitate and support senior management by liaising with different teams throughout the process, including risk identification, analyzing, reporting and monitoring
  • Support the implementation of enterprise risk management approach to site operations / projects and provide support to the subsequent ongoing review
  • Support periodic risk management reporting to senior management
  • Provide training and workshop to increase risk awareness
  • Assess key risks and internal control procedures by coordinating with various projects and finetuning the internal control design based on the risk levels
  • Provide practical recommendations and action plans to management
  • Perform ad hoc projects or any other duties as assigned from time to time

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree holder (Accounting, Finance, Risk Management or similar degrees are preferred)
  • Professional qualification such as Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) is preferred
  • Minimum 8 years of solid professional experience in sizable companies or audit/consulting firms, including minimum 3-4 years’ experience in enterprise risk management
  • Prior experience in an enterprise risk management role is a must
  • Prior experience in process and control reviews is an advantage
  • Sound knowledge of internal controls and risk management
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Proactive and be able to work independently
  • Able to work under pressure
  • A good team player with a “can-do” attitude
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese; fluency in Putonghua
  • Travel to mainland China is required when needed
  • Candidate with less experiences would be considered as Assistant Manager
