Our client is a listed telecommunication company, one of the largest Mobile Telecom in China. She is urgently looking for a Legal Counsel to join their expanding team.

Job Description

• Handle and manage dispute matters and litigation cases.
• Prepare and revise internal guidelines, policies, and reports on dispute matters.
• Work closely with internal commercial and technical departments on dispute matters.
• Coordinate with external legal advisers and manage their work related to litigation cases.
• Draft and review day-to-day commercial contracts, and participate in contract negotiations.
• Draft and regularly update templates of contracts and legal documentation.
• Assist on M&A and investment projects and other ad-hoc projects.
• Conduct internal training on legal topics.

Job Requirements

• Registered lawyer in Hong Kong or other common law jurisdictions with at least 6–8 years of PQE.
• Solid experience in handling litigation matters and commercial contract drafting gained in reputable law firms and in-house environments.
• Experience from the telecommunications industry and Chinese SOEs is highly preferred.
• Proficient in English and Chinese (reading, writing, and speaking as working languages).
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and attentive to details.
