Job summary

A leading conglomerate in Hong Kong is seeking a Procurement Team Lead to support the IT Department's financial planning and resource management. Responsibilities include enhancing procurement processes, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with IT regulations. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Business Administration or related fields, has over 8 years of experience in IT procurement, and possesses strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor holder in BBA, procurement, supply chain management, Finance or related disciplines.
• Candidates with qualification in professional accounting will be an advantage.
• At least 8 years relevant working experience in IT/procurement, including 2 or more years in a managerial role.

Responsibilities

• Report to the CIO and support budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning for the IT Department.
• Act as team lead for procurement, reviewing and improving the existing procurement framework.
• Manage vendor relations and ensure IT contracts and licenses comply with regulations.

What are your responsibilities?

Report to the CIO and provide support on budgeting, forecasting, people management and resource planning for the IT Department

Act as the team lead of procurement (IT department) team to review and improve the existing procurement framework, including the processes, procedures and policies

Formulate purchasing solutions in order to save cost while improve process efficiencies and enhance business performance

In charge of vendor management; identify quality vendors and establish long-term partnership

Responsible for IT contracts & licenses review, and update the team fon any IT compliance and regulations

Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders to monitor and track progress of IT projects

What skills/ qualification will you need?

Bachelor holder in BBA, procurement, supply chain management, Finance or related disciplines

Candidates with qualification in professional accounting will be an advantage

At least 8 years relevant working experience in IT/ procurement including 2 years or above in managerial role

Good command in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
