Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be part of the COE within the Greater China region, responsible for:

  • Payroll management, including OT & shift allowances, pension, and taxation for over 250 employees.
  • Benefits administration and attendance record oversight.
  • Ensuring compliance with HK Labour Ordinance and corporate governance.
  • Recruitment and HR generalist duties for North Asia Hub, an international bank with 500+ employees in APAC.
  • Providing HRBP support, collaborating with senior leaders and business management to address HR challenges such as workforce planning, recruitment, performance management, staff engagement, and compensation review.
  • Regional C&B, payroll, and benefits operations.
  • Partnering with a small team of HR professionals in HK & SGP, reporting to the Regional Head of HR.
  • End-to-end talent acquisition, from understanding requirements, interviewing, onboarding, to background screening.
  • Providing insights on talent management and employee development to support business strategies.
  • Regional HR C&B operations and payroll management for HK Branch, including HRIS/dashboard reports, employee lifecycle management, and handling employee inquiries.
  • Payroll, C&B, and Share Services for HK Branch, working closely with external vendors and participating in benefits insurance reviews.
