Our client is a famous banking group. They are looking for a high caliber professional to fill theRisk & Compliance Manager position.

  • Assist in administering, coordinating, controlling and monitoring risk and compliance matters related to human resources.
  • Develop, review and update policies, procedures and guidelines related to HR risk and compliance.
  • Compile various reports to the management, relevant internal and external parties on compliance and risk management related issues.
  • Conduct extensive research on and keep abreast of the latest regulatory requirements, which include but not limited to Employment Ordinance, Banking Ordinance, HKMA’s Supervisory Policy Manuals and circulars, SFO, etc.
  • Conduct gap analysis on internal and external regulatory requirements and review control effectiveness to address risk, compliance and legal matters with regards to HR issues.
  • Develop new ideas or methods for effectively addressing potential legal, risk and compliance issues to ensure high quality of all human resources functions.
  • Coordinate the audit issues of the department with respective parties.
  • Handle ad-hoc projects as required.

Requirements

  • University graduate in Human Resources Management, Banking, Law or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience preferably from banking/finance/legal institutions
  • Sound knowledge of human resources processes and risk and compliance management.
  • Good understanding of banking operations and relevant banking policies, procedures, rules and regulations.
  • A detail-oriented team player with good communication skills and risk awareness.
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
