Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Directly report to CEO and manage daily operations including deal matching and trade transactions.
• Perform internal control and risk management ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Maintain excellent relationships with regulatory bodies such as HKEX and SFC.

Skills

Strong knowledge in SFC and HKEx regulations

Excellent presentation and social skills

Job description

Our client is a multi-cultural investment bank with branches and businesses stretching around the globe.

• Directly report to CEO and manage a sizable team to maintain the daily operations including deal matching, trade transactions, reconciliation, settlement, account opening, KYC, etc.
• Manage the stock pledge processing of equities, global securities, futures, options and other derivatives in Hong Kong and global markets
• Perform internal control and risk management as well as ensure all procedures are compliance with regulations, policies and guidelines
• Review, streamline and execute settlement process for operational excellent as well as drive the team for the execution of changes against the regulatory amendments
• Maintain excellent relationship with regulatory bodies / authorities, e.g. HKEX, SFC

Requirement: :

• Bachelor Degree or above
• 8+ relevant experience in securities operations and settlement function, in which at least 3 years at a managerial level
• Strong knowledge in SFC, HKEx regulations and other regulatory requirements in relation to securities and futures business
• Hands-on and able to work independently with excellent presentation and social skills
• Excellent in both written and spoken Chinese and English (including Mandarin)
