Job summary

A leading financial institution is seeking a Deputy Manager for Syndication and Structured Finance to deliver strategic debt financing solutions to corporates and institutions. The role involves loan origination and distribution along with credit risk evaluation for deal structuring. Ideal candidates should have a university degree in Business or related fields, along with at least five years of relevant experience in syndication and structured finance, preferably in the Asia Pacific region. Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese, including Putonghua, are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years origination and distribution experience in syndication and structured financing.
• Experience in handling syndication and structured finance in Asia Pacific region is preferred.
• Candidates with more experience will be considered.

Deputy Manager – Syndication and Structured Finance (Ref:GCF- SSF - ML)

Responsibilities:

• Provide professional solutions in relation to debt financing (syndication and structured finance) for corporate and institutions clients.
• Conduct syndication and structured financing loan origination and distribution on primary basis. Evaluate credit risks of potential borrowers/ issuers and identify credit weaknesses for deal structuring and syndication origination and distribution.
• Liaise with lawyers on closing and execution of loan transactions.

Requirements:

• University graduate in Business/ Accounting/ Banking or related disciplines.
• Minimum of 5 years origination and distribution experience in syndication and structured financing (including but not limited to project finance, asset-backed finance, mergers & acquisitions) gained from international financial institutions.
• Experience in handling syndication and structured finance in Asia Pacific region is more preferred.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills. Able to work under pressure.
• Conversant with MS Word, Excel & Chinese character input.
• Good command of written & spoken English and Chinese including Putonghua.
• Candidates with more experience will be considered.
