Deputy IT Project Manager (Ref: ITD-PM-SH-ICBCA)

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for IT project life cycle management, from project preparation through go-life.
• Ensure project deliverables are on time, within budget and meet prescribed standards.
• Monitor the project progress, prepare progress report and statistics and proactively identify and escalate the potential risks to section manager.
• Assists section manager on the management of external service providers.
• Assists section manager to prepare project plan.

Requirements:

• Degree holder in IT related disciplines.
• At least 4 years of project management experience in banking or financial institution.
• Strong background on Treasury application system and implementation/ support is preferable.
• Knowledge in treasury products features and user/system operations experience would be an added advantage.
• Strong leadership and project management skills, able to lead cross-functional business projects with sound interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Willing to travel (e.g. China).
• Excellent verbal and writing Chinese communication skills. Good command of Cantonese and English.
• Responsible, self-motivated and good organizational skill.
• Able to work efficiently and accurately under pressure, both in a team environment and individually.
