Job summary

An financial institution is seeking a Deputy IT Manager/System Administrator to handle system administration tasks across various platforms like Windows, UNIX, and VMware. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience, with capabilities in SAN Storage and troubleshooting. Proficiency in English and Chinese (including Putonghua) is essential, and MSCE holders will be preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Perform regular system administration on Windows, UNIX, VMware covering performance & availability monitoring, capacity management, patch management.
• Responsible for regular SAN Storage and Netbackup administration.
• Troubleshoot system problem and investigate resolution.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• University graduate in Computer Science or related disciplines.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in Windows, Unix, Vmware system administration.
• Holder of MSCE is preferred.
• Able to work independently with good time management.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple demands and changing priorities.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, including Putonghua.
• Candidates with less experience will be considered for Senior Officer.
