Cost Manager (Overseas Real Estate Projects) Salary Highly Negotiable; 5day; Sheung Wan!

Our client is a famous family office focusing on global investments projects, they are now urgently seeking a Cost Manager focusing on Overseas Real Estate Projects to join their team:

  • Reporting to the Senior Director, the incumbent will be responsible for identifying Budget and Risk to ensure adequate resources are provided for various projects
  • Ensure procurement, tendering, contract administration and cost control procedures are in line.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to the specified high quality.
  • Responsible for monitoring cash management, final accounts and claims resolution, aiming to achieve the best financial results for the project.
  • Participate in feasibility studies to establish project budgets
  • Manage and monitor the selection/appointment of consultants
  • Review cost plans, cost estimates and tender documents prepared by consultants
  • Manage and monitor the process of tendering and award as well as contract administration
  • Review cash flow and expenditure forecasts for financial control purposes
  • Manage and monitor the final account process and settlement of contractual claims
  • Prepare presentation and reports for approval by Senior Management
  • Maintain project cost data bank and carry out cost analysis and cost comparisons among various projects

Requirements:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or related disciplines
  • Professionally qualified in MHKIS / MRICS (Quantity Surveying) is an advantage
  • 8 years’ experiences in Quantity Surveying with exposure in property developer or consultancy firms preferred
  • Experience in project coordination or management in Overseas Properties is an advantage
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Excellent leadership and coordination skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  • Able to work independently, under pressure and meet tight deadline
  • Energetic, self-driven and detail-minded team player
  • Willing to travel to overseas countries when required
