Our client, a listed engineering and construction company in Hong Kong. They are now urgently seeking a Corporate Communication Officer to join their expanding team
Job Description
Support the implementation of a range of internal communication initiatives such as staff events, and external ones including but not limited to sponsorships, events and CSR programmes
- Provide administrative and logistics support to corporate events and conferences
- Assist in planning and developing booth design and layout, and preparation of content for exhibitions and trade shows etc.
- Prepare content and execute production of corporate collaterals such as newsletters and brochures
- Develop and manage content for website and social media platforms
- Manage directory listings and coordinate arrangements for corporate memberships
- Manage the sourcing and production of corporate premiums
- Provide editorial support for advertorials, prepare presentations, speeches and press releases
- Monitor daily news in relation to the Group and its projects
- Other ad hoc projects as and when required
Job Requirements
- Degree holder in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or related disciplines
- Minimum 5 years of solid experience in corporate communications or marketing communications in agencies or media or sizable companies
Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
- Proficiency with MS Office applications and Chinese word processing;
- Well-versed in copywriting, translation and editing, as well as event management
- Experienced in content creation for and maintaining social media platforms is an advantage
- Familiar with video production and editing; and knowledge in Graphic design software i.e. Photo Editor, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator or related software is preferred
- Knowledge in engineering industry would also be an advantage
- Responsible, proactive and a good team player and with strong communication skills
- Able to work independently, handle multi-tasks, work under pressure and deal with tight deadlines
