Job description

Our Client isALeading Tech Organization in Hong Kong

Responsibilities:

  • Strategically plan and develop talent programmes, from placements, internships, visits to trainings to connect Hong Kong, Mainland and overseas young I&T talent with career opportunities in the Org’s I&T ecosystem. The ultimate goal is to enable I&T talent to work at the Org’s partner companies or start their I&T start-ups in Hong Kong and the GBA.
  • Establish and oversee partnerships with the Org’s partner companies, educational institutions, youth organizations, governmental and research organizations, NGOs, etc. in programme planning and management
  • Research I&T talent supply and demand in Hong Kong’s and the GBA’s I&T ecosystems, and understand I&T talent trends and best practices to inform the programme strategy
  • Manage the team’s budget to ensure resources are efficiently deployed
  • Monitor the implementation of talent programmes, synthesize feedback from stakeholders, analyze programme effectiveness, and propose improvements to management
  • Plan promotions and publicity for talent programmes among the target audiences of I&T talents and employers, educational institutions and other ecosystem stakeholders
  • Support the Org’s Talent Advisory Committee in developing the Org’s I&T talent strategy
  • Lead and coach the team to execute the above and meet team goals
  • Perform other duties assigned by management as appropriate

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above preferably in Business, Human Resources, Social Science or any other related fields
  • Minimum 12+ years of relevant work experience in talent acquisition or development related programme management, preferably in the I&T sector in Hong Kong or the GBA. Candidates with more experience may be considered for a higher position.
  • Able to start something from scratch and think strategically, while also strong in project planning and execution in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, to deliver solid results
  • Extensive network within the I&T and/or tertiary education sectors in the GBA / Mainland / overseas will be a definite advantage
  • Proven team leadership experience, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and able to multi-task and perform under tight schedule
  • Track record in building rapport with internal and external stakeholders at various levels, from senior management to diverse functional teams
  • Excellent communication / presentation skills in both verbal and written English and Chinese, including fluency in Putonghua
