Job description

Are you a newly qualified or experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) seeking a fresh and exciting challenge? My client based in bustling Blackpool invites you to become a valued member of their dedicated team, where your skills and passion for animal care will be fully appreciated and nurtured.

Imagine working in a supportive, inclusive, and diverse environment where your professional growth is encouraged through fully supported Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and opportunities to pursue your special interests. Enjoy a competitive salary ranging from £28,000 to £34,000, depending on your experience, and benefit from a work-life balance with no out-of-hours (OOH) or overnight inpatient checks, and just 1 in 4 Saturdays.

The practice is a purpose‑built, RCVS‑accredited facility equipped with advanced diagnostics, including in‑house laparoscopy and advanced dermatology services. You will be part of a friendly team of 3 Vets, 4 RVNs, 1 SVN, 2 VCAs, and a dedicated front‑of‑house team. My client pride themselves on creating bespoke employment experiences that bring out the best in people, who in turn deliver exceptional care to their clients and their pets.

The practice is surrounded by shops, cafés, and eateries, and is just a stone's throw from the beach. With excellent transport links, including trams, trains, buses, and taxis, and proximity to Manchester and Liverpool airports, commuting is a breeze.

In this role, you will utilise your nursing skills to their full potential, from admitting patients and monitoring anaesthetics to recovering and discharging patients. You will receive assistance from ANAs and an SVN with theatre turnaround and patient preparation.

My client looking for candidates with good general nursing experience, excellent customer service skills, and a cheerful, down‑to‑earth attitude. Whether you are an experienced RVN or a newly qualified nurse, I would love to hear from you.

This is a full‑time position, working 40 hours per week, including 1 in 4 weekends. In return, you will receive a competitive salary, generous CPD (including funded certificates), social events, a contributory pension scheme, paid memberships (RCVS, BVNA, VDS), and exclusive company and high street discounts and rewards.

If you share a passion for delivering outstanding pet healthcare and excellent customer service, please apply today.
