Trainee Progress Chaser

Job Introduction
We are recruiting for a Trainee Progress Chaser to join the team at our SKODA dealership in Coventry. The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 6pm. Salary is up to £26,000 basic salary plus benefits.

Some knowledge or experience of the motor trade is preferred, but not essential as full training will be provided. This key role requires excellent communication and administrative skills as you will be responsible for assisting the sales team with the preparation of cars for both display and handover.

Responsibilities:

The successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of all cars, liaising with the sales management team, workshop, and body shop to ensure that our cars adhere to the highest standards expected from both the manufacturer and Listers.

You will also be required to effectively coordinate and control all delivery activities once an order has been placed, making sure that our culture of customer first continues. In addition, the successful applicant will be responsible for carrying out all pre-delivery checks on the car and preparing all documentation ready for the customer at collection.

• Checking in New and Used cars.
• Fuelling cars.
• Organising weekly photography of used cars.
• Assisting with the organisation of vehicle preparation.
• Helping to organise the collection of trade vehicles.
• Assisting with the preparation of vehicles for handover.
• Managing the loading of cars onto the internet.
• Maintaining showroom standards and managing brochure stock.
