Field Services Technician – Working Throughout the UK

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine upgrade maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of electrical installations and equipment.
  • Fault finding and rectification; prior experience would be desirable.
  • Knowledge of electrical safe isolation procedure and safe working practices.
  • Install, test, and inspect electrical components, including wiring, circuits, and panels, to ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Diagnose and rectify electrical faults using technical drawings, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to implement system upgrades and modifications.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, including inspections, repairs, and maintenance logs.
  • General electrical testing and awareness of required legislation.
  • Some digital literacy and IT skills, with an understanding of Microsoft Office products, including Microsoft Forms.
Qualifications And Skills
  • Proven experience as a Field Services Technician in an industrial, commercial, or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and hand tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Additional Info
  • Work Schedule: Monday to Friday (39hrs).
  • Location: Virtual – will be required to travel to various locations across the UK.
  • Expenses: All reasonable travel expenses will be covered.
  • Resources Provided: Transport and tools will be supplied.
